I Dreamt I was Pregnant! Pregnant Dream Meaning Explained

PREGNANT DREAM MEANING EXPLAINED

Last night, before I fell asleep, I texted one of my friends and said I’m headed to dream world. Little did I know, my dream to be was about to be very crazy. I dreamt, I was walking around pregnant, rubbing my large belly, and I was fully aware I was near my due date. To the contrary of what my future pregnancy may hold, I wasn’t nervous and I, in fact, was excited. It’s almost as if my fears were crushed by the weight of my body and protruding belly and it was replaced by faith.

But when I woke up I couldn’t help but wonder, what did that dream mean?

Did it suggest I want to have a baby?

Was this my dream because of the launch of my Empowered Queen Tee Shirt collection?

Maybe the dream symbolized a big change that was going to take place in my life soon.

This dream really had me thinking. I had to know what other explanations there could be for this type of dream? I did some research about pregnancy dreams and they are known to have several meanings. This is what I found.

You are growing

When a woman is pregnant she is constantly growing and changing. The same thing can be said when you are changing and growing as an individual. When you dream you are pregnant but haven’t birthed the baby, it suggests you are at a point in your life where you are developing. Your growth as a person can be mental, physical, spiritual, or perhaps even sexual.

You’re about to give birth

Just not to a baby. Often times when we have dreams about giving birth we are on the brink of sharing something amazing with the world, like a new project, or a new idea, or a new perception about life. You could very well be pregnant with a purpose.

You want to have a baby

Your mind might be telling you, you want to have your own little bundle of joy. Regardless of your marital status, if you have a serene dream where you are snuggling up to your own precious gift you may secretly want to have a child of your own.

You are stressed and worried

The idea of having a baby to take care of right this second may scare the crap out of you. You may actually feel like you're going to have an actual panic attack, just at the thought of it. Having a baby can be scary and worrisome because it’s a HUGE responsibility. Your life right now may be stressful enough because of work or a relationship or you’re going through a low point so a pregnancy dream may suggest you’re afraid of the future.

If you will soon give birth in your dream you may be overcome by fear and worry that the future you don’t want is destined to happen anyway.

You want a change

Does your life feel dull, unfulfilled, and just plain whack? Perhaps the work you do feels monotonous, or your partner isn’t satisfying you like he used to, or your hair seems boring and lifeless. When you have a dream you’re pregnant during these times it suggests you want a change because your life isn’t lighting you up. You are ready for something life-changing so you can be happy about life again.

Have you ever experienced this dream before?
